This is a two part blog: miniatures and the tools that create the finished product and secondly is the other places to go to find better answers to more complex questions.

Dah Paint Job, Die, and Dark Elves
Dice and Brush let it out of the bag! I can't wait to get my hands on a few of these future models and only can speculate how much more time I will have to spend to try to finish my ever growing pile of miniatures.
Bloody Beast can't help themselves to making awesome models look even better with an incredible paint job. Love it!

Blease World posted something quite sad. To merely mention Donald Featherstone's name may only conjure what some remember vividly to our present. Seems to be the chap made a huge impact and I'm sure the games today must all tip their hat to his transcendent games.

Blood Dragon Vampire Count
Wee! Once you get going you can't stop. Enjoyed finishing this model today. Even though I'm not 100% enjoying the gold NMM but he's good enough to bloody someone on the tabletop. I'll just need to finish grassing and clear coat him just like the other. The count(pun intended) is two and I've got nine more to go. I almost forgot to post the guy who actually has the NMM turn out a lot better than mine: NMM gold tutorial .

Getting away from White Dwarf, say hello to WSS Magazine?
I've certainly been preparing to jump from the Games Workshop band wagon for some time now. I love the models and the system but it's just too much. Looking for a different magazine is a little daunting. I think I've found the next best thing in Wargames Soldiers and Strategy. Maybe I'll be forward thinking and get digital copies instead of paper printed ones?

40k Tournament rules?
Emporers Codex takes a stab at it. Good solid thought. Don't see many issues with the majority of his points. http://emperorscodex.blogspot.com/2012/07/will-nova-set-bar.html#more
