This is a two part blog: miniatures and the tools that create the finished product and secondly is the other places to go to find better answers to more complex questions.

Vampire counts close
Folks I've been picking these out for a while. I've still got to put the grass on and then move to varnish. I'm happy with the results even if they took longer than expected. The red cape on the second picture turned out really well. I decided to soften the highlight by using Fortress Gray and not Skull White. The third picture with the Blood Dragon BSB and his Gold NMM really turned out well too. I believe it's my most favorite part of the miniature. In the last picture, the Strigoi has removable wings with a pin through it. I still would like to try out magnets but the budget won't allow me yet. These models were also the first time I tried Tutofig.com and Steel NMM. I believe the blades look great for the tabletop and I can't wait to do battle with a few characters now in my games.
