Vampire counts on the way!

Yes, had a few moments over the weekend and today to spray my next batch of vampire count characters, skeletons, old armored skeletons(grave guard), and a few banshees, 10 fell bats! I have another large unit of black knights, grave guard, and knights of the blood keep(old mounted vampires) to prepare and prime. Very grateful for my wife allowing me to pair these last few days.

I've had these models for way to long. I've started basing them, next step is to convert them all to reflect a Nippon feel, then base spray, paint, dip, varnish, and them complete! Wonder if the Super Bowl can wait?

I've tried games workshop older paints and found Vallejo. I then moved to their ink color Sepia and love it. I just wish all my men ha the wash applied. Such is life.

Howdy Y'all! Made further progress over the four day weekend.

Storage

Thanks to my running shoe box, hot glue, a roll of magnetic strip, and ingenuity I now am a proud storage box owner for my ACW figures. Next up, another brigade of soldiers and I'll make sure I paint the command with them!

Flags and brigade commands done

Great stuff. I really think painting the flags made from toothpaste tube is awesome. Feels great to have them done. The flags, except for the US flag, are removable. This can give me flexibility to change banners to change brigades. I'm not for sure if the flags are standard size but I feel they are large enough to paint and small enough to look realistic. I'm so thankful I had the time to get this all done. My next small project is to figure out how to transport them en mass.

What is sad, I hadn't realized until today, F&F rule book placed every dad-blasted Texas flag upside down. Who in their right mind could get that wrong? Tongue and cheek, but shame on them.
