To Airbrush or Not to Airbrush

Well folks, I believe the wife and I agreed that I can invest in an airbrush. Not having to go to Walmart anymore for those cheap cans will be great. Being able to complete models faster will be even better! I added a few links to VOODOO and to a youtube link that shows how awesome you can get your colors to look. Trying to finish mega numbers of models will have the time decreased, hopefully.

Book tabs

Folks, if you've ever wondered why you can't find the right spot in your book; it's probably because you didn't put tabs down.

Simple fix: just cut up some index card and use some tape. Ta-DA! it's done

Move

Moving, just can't seem to find the time to do much else. Being gone from the game was tuff! What I have learned in that time is being able to manage the time. What makes it even tougher is knowing that the Wife will always be more important than the models. Look forward to getting a lot done soon and starting to post plenty of pictures with the progress.

New test model

Howdy again,

I wasn't for sure about the color for the last test model. Here's a new idea I've been having. I like How they turned out. Using the grey as a mixing color definitely adds realism. Especially cooling off the colors.

Lizardmen Test Models

Well folks we have some updates. The skink and Saurus are both going to have the same scheme. When I have more senior/hero/special models I will paint them lighter colors. It will give them a sense that the newer soldiers are younger and have less damage and less years in the sun.

They won't get a highlight or shade. Special and Rare slots will get the fancy paint jobs

Close to the Final

Looking at the pictures I see a lot of work. I just hope I have time to finish the rest when I am overseas. See above for most of the models I have and have finished for the Dark Elves. Just a few more and then I can be complete with this army.

I also was able to sell the High Elves for cheap. Made about $300 total. Didn't think people wanted all that but they did.

Remember it's just another day. If you don't make something of it you failed, no one else.
