2nd Edition Kings of War on Kickstarter

Make a wish and it shall be so!  I'm so excited for this game to continue to grow.  The very fact I was able to understand the rules with the first edition PDF meant something.  Heck, maybe it was the fact that the ease of rules during game play make it easy to have quick games.  BIG FAN!  Click here for the 2nd Edition Kick Starter. Again, just a huge fan of the smoothness of play and simplicity in the rules.

I really enjoyed looking at this post here at Plastic Crack.  He's done some fantastic work on making it fit in to a very doable space.  Makes sense and it looks like with a few additions I could make these transportable.

Awesome, a few more complete. I have a few shields made for more temple guard as well. Looking forward to fitting them all in transportation boxes. Just means one more step to completion and progress.

Full scale war

I had to post this picture of what the collection looks like just a few days ago. Looks great and hopefully soon some will be leaving me to make space for Westwind's 15mm historical figures.

Starting again!

It's been a long time since I've touched a brush. Tonight's the night to move forward. Still thinking about selling but we can worry about that till tomorrow.

I had taken a few pictures a few weeks ago of all my models. It was interesting to see what the last picture looked like. Now, quite a few are sold and gone, some couldn't be for in and others are now painted. I was just surprised how much more had been painted. The LM, the VC, and quite a few DE were completed. It all feels good. Looking forward to the next chapter. I think it will be westwinds future 15mm historical miniatures. I hope the rules are solid too.

Enjoyment is when?

After coming in to understanding my near future, I've realized it may be time to rid myself of such a list of miniatures.  The problems I may be facing in the near future is realizing I may not receive what I'd like to and where this money will continue to pay it forward. 


I don't want to wish I hadn't done something but I believe it will be a worth while venture.  It's much better than selling the car if it will help take the edge off the issue at hand.  I do believe that Bartertown is the way to go and will start posting them in large chunks.  Not knowing who will bite, I'll break it down further if they don't sell.  I'll post Armies first then move down from there.  Having Skaven, Lizardmen, Dark Elves, and VC it will be interesting to see where this leads me (not even counting the older Empire and O&G I have still somewhere around).


This just seems to be the next step to something and after realizing this and while typing slowly, I do believe this is the best thing for me.  Less miniatures, more something else.  Life moves on! The right way, the best way, a way in which life will change for the better.


The next step question is really without the load of minis what really will be my next bigger fun.  I'm sure that bike riding will always be present but what about guns and my families safety?   Surely one of these would take the first place easily!
