This is a two part blog: miniatures and the tools that create the finished product and secondly is the other places to go to find better answers to more complex questions.

Storage
Thanks to my running shoe box, hot glue, a roll of magnetic strip, and ingenuity I now am a proud storage box owner for my ACW figures. Next up, another brigade of soldiers and I'll make sure I paint the command with them!

Flags and brigade commands done
Great stuff. I really think painting the flags made from toothpaste tube is awesome. Feels great to have them done. The flags, except for the US flag, are removable. This can give me flexibility to change banners to change brigades. I'm not for sure if the flags are standard size but I feel they are large enough to paint and small enough to look realistic. I'm so thankful I had the time to get this all done. My next small project is to figure out how to transport them en mass.
What is sad, I hadn't realized until today, F&F rule book placed every dad-blasted Texas flag upside down. Who in their right mind could get that wrong? Tongue and cheek, but shame on them.

First ACW union
Well a great day for college football and for the union! Tomorrow I'm going to paint a command base for each brigade and call it a day. I really like Vallejo's pastel blue (901) and intense blue (925) for the union pants and jacket.

ACW miniatures airbrushed
Yes! Can't believe I finally found the time to spray them. Very happy, now to paint a few and try my hand at standards.
